Evening Walk at the Corner of Manezhnaya Square

Evening Walk at the Corner of Manezhnaya Square

Illuminated at night in present time, the beautiful red brick building of State Historical museum was built on the Red Square (located behind the building on this picture) in Neo-Russian style by project of prominent architects Sherwood and Semenov between 1875 and 1881. The impressive monument to Marshal Zhukov, the legendary general from WWII called by soldiers “The Marshal of Victory”, in front of the north side of the museum was solemnly opened in 1995, during celebration of 50th anniversary from the Great Victory.

Not so much snow in historical center of Moscow seson during the current mild winter season (2014-2015).

Visiting Moscow has been a lifelong dream, so when I was fortunate to combine this with a business trip, I didn't hesitate to book Arthur's services, based on all the wonderful recommendations of his former and repeat clients.

Arthur made my visit a dream come true. His knowledge of the city and the history of Russia is extensive, and we managed to fit in a great deal of the amazing sights around the city.

I'll certainly return to Moscow again, and I hope that Arthur will be available to make my second trip as amazing and memorable as my first!!

Thank you again for everything you did to make my first impressions of Moscow as magical as the city itself is.
