Rocket "Vostok-1"

Rocket "Vostok-1"

On April 12, 1961, Yuri Gagarin became the first man in space when he orbited the earth in Vostok-I. "Poyekhali!" ("Here we go!"), he exclaimed as he blasted off. He flew into space and spent 108 minutes there. Gagarin became a Hero of our country. Tragically, Gagarin died in a 1968 plane crash while training for a second space flight, but people always remember the first Russian cosmonaut.

I was in Moscow with a friend of mine for 5 days, we're very interested in aviation and cosmonautics, Arthur was the only one offering tour to Monino in the winter season, he arranged a guided visit with an Ex Russian Pilot (English Speaker).

We really enjoyed the tour, and the friendly atmosphere during the various explanations about all the different planes grounded in Monino.

Driving back to Moscow, Arthur offered us a guided tour of some parts of the city where we didn't go in the previous days, such as Cathedral of Christ the Saviour, The Seven Sisters Buildings, Moscow Stadium, The University.

Arthur is very helpful and very well prepared, he knows where to drive you for god memories in Moscow.

I highly recommend to book a tour with him.

Ciao e Arrivederci dall'Italia.
